Happy 101 Tag

I got the Happy 101 tag from Lisa Kate, who I totally adore :3 It's 10 things that make me happy, and I have to tag 10 blogs! Or however many I FEEL LIKE, what are you gonna do about it? Okay okay... I did 11, I'm not a huge rebel. 1. SPRAY BUTTER. Not your grandma's dumb spreadable butter. 2. THE X-FILES. I'm on season 7, devastated at the thought of my life once I'm done with the series and the latest movie... I dream about Mulder and Scully at least twice a week. Sadly, that's not a joke. The picture below is the X-Files poster I got for Christmas! 3. MOVIES. Not your typical lame girly movies... those are for chumps. Horror movies are my favorite, ones that push you to the limits and make you scream. But I also love disturbing movies, classic comedies, and Fred & Ginger movies. I am as into movies as I am into makeup... that should tell you something. Last night, I watched The Midnight Meat Train :D 4. SNEAKERS. I have probably around 12 pairs of bright ass sneakers, and maybe 10 pairs of flats. I'm going to show you guys a picture of my shoe collection sometime. These are the ones I got for Christmas. 5. SAM. 6. HELLO KITTY. I know a lot of people probably hate Hello Kitty. I would say she hates you too, but her heart is made of pure good and she could never hate anyone. 7. LADY GAGA. LOVE LOVE LOVE 8. CUTE ANIMAL PICTURES! I have the Cute Overload page a day 2010 calender :D 9. When Blogger doesn't keep changing the font I'm using, dammit! 10. FALLING ASLEEP WITH MY DUMB CAT :) Yes, this is my cat, and no, I did not pose it. Sometimes she likes to hold things while she sleeps. I tag... 1. Julissa 2. Ciao 3. Judy 4. Bowsnhearts 5. Sara 6. Lynny 7. Blix 8. HeavenNJR 9. AxSDenied 10. Kim 11. Painted Moogle Sorry if you've already been tagged!

  1. I love Lady Gaga and X files...I started watching xfiles in um...I want to say 3rd grade. My mom let me stay up for it because I was obsessed with aliens. Mulder was my very first crush on an actor.

  4. Thank you for tagging! :)

I was a huge fan of X-files and horror movies several years ago. Now I'm a HUGE fan of Lost and Fringe (love mysteries!!!), but can't watch horror anymore - seem too freaking scary for me. :) Although I watched all Saw series, The Hills Have Eyes and Martyrs ALONE! And survived. lol

  5. @Lynny: I have SUCH a crush on Mulder, it's so sad.

    @Painted Moogle: yaaaay!

@Kim: I hate regular butter now... it pales in comparison.

@HeavenNJR: I stopped watching Lost because it frustrated me never knowing any answers :P I actually turned off Saw when the guy comes out of the closet, that freaked me out too much. :( It's the only movie I've ever not finished because I was too scared, and I feel so lame cus EVERYONE has seen it. BAAA YOU'VE SEEN MARTYRS? I want to see it but I'm too nervous cus of all the torture... getting skinned alive is icky :P

  9. Heather, I stopped watching LOST after the beginning of Season 2, because it seemed so complicated&lame, but one day I "accidentally" saw the beginning of Season 5 (this season explains lots of things!) and I just had to watch everything from the very beginning. I was shocked! The best series EVER! The whole idea is so freaking smart! :) Can't wait for Season 6!

As for horror movies, I tend to "prefer" (i.e. not to get scared too much) "blood and meat" movies (I wanted to be a doctor when I was younger...:) that's why I like the series about surgeons lol), but am scared of paranormal/supernatural stuff. Watched The Ring with my friend and only two strangers in the movie theater! And we each got a phone call when we still were in our seats! Imagine how scared we were! lol

Surely all the torturing in Martyrs is disgusting, but I wouldn't call it the scariest movie ever. Btw, I'd call the opening scene (when the girl kills the whole family) more disturbing than all that "meat thing". Just don't force yourself to watch the stuff you are particularly afraid of. There are plenty of different types/genres of horror movies, suitable for anyone's taste. :) As for me, I won't watch Blair Witch or Paranormal Activity, because these things just freak me out! :)

  10. Heehee, now that pretty much all the seasons are on dvd (right?), I might just watch the whole thing.

All horror movies scare me, I am such a weenie >_< I get so scared but I love watching them so much, all kinds! I have a lot of nightmares and none of my friends feel sorry for me cus it's my own fault, haha.

I think I will try to watch Martyrs, since I did see Inside. I only looked away at one part, which apparently was the nastiest thing my boyfriend had ever seen, and now I'm not allowed to pick out movies anymore when we rent them. I have Blair Witch & Paranormal Activity both on DVD, hehe. Paranormal Activity scared me more than anything in my life the first time I saw it, I stayed up all night with a bunch of friends because we were too scared to fall asleep of be alone.

  11. Heather, all the seasons are released on DVDs. Btw, I looove the bloopers and "behind the scenes"! You still have time till the first episode of Season 6! :) I can talk for hours about Lost. :)

Haven't heard about Inside. I'll probably read a plot only like I did with Blair and Paranormal. Plot was enough. :)

Martyrs have only a couple of creepy moments, other stuff is mainly a psychological pressure (realising how cruel someone can be).

  13. Fantastic list of happy things!
I love slasher films and things like you too, and also Lady Gaga and cute animals. That mermaid painting of Hello Kitty is hella cute too!

  14. Martyrs is moved to the top of my Netflix list, teehee. Lillian, the mermaid painting is from the Hello Kitty 3 Apples art exibit thingy that was in New York (I think) a couple months ago.
