EOTD with the Sleek Circus Palette

I'm really excited to get my purchases from Haute Look this week! Especially the Urban Decay Stereophonic set. I have been eyeing it for quite a while, but I think it has just recently been dc'd. Anyway, I got it for $7, and it will be my first time trying out 24/7 pencils! I haven't done any real bright looks lately, so today I decided to play with the Sleek Circus palette. The color on the inner corner is actually the lime green from the palette, it turns almost neon yellow on me! Does this happen to anyone else? What I used: Concrete Minerals eyeshadow primer Sleek Circus Palette Max Factor 2000 Calorie mascara e.l.f. all over color stick in Pink Lemonade Urban Decay lip gloss in Lust I stopped listing any face products I use a while ago, so I thought I'd list them today. Hard Candy face primer Jane tinted moisturizer in "natural" Covergirl pressed powder Benefit Confessions of a Concealaholic kit I had to get in a weird spot by the window to take this, all my full face shots kept turning out blurry. I have bought so much makeup and bath stuff these last few weeks, too much in my opinion. So starting this weekend until near the end of September, I am going on a low-buy. I'm going to rediscover great products I already have, and hopefully this will help me curb my spending in the future. I'm ending the low buy in time for the Urban Decay book of shadows 3 :) Is anyone else on a low buy, or *gasp* even more awful, a no buy? How's it going for you? Since I started blogging I honestly don't think I've gone more than a week without buying some sort of cosmetic.

I know I've been MIA this last week, but I'm gonna be better, I swear! I already have pictures all ready for a post tomorrow :) And since I have now gotten my own credit card, and I know that my paycheck tomorrow will be the biggest one I've ever gotten, I've already started ordering stuff, heehee. I will have a ton of hauls/ reviews/ swatches coming up soon. Here was a look I did for fun today. I love the Nars Rated R duo but there's no way in hell I'm shelling out $32 for it. Everyone knows indie companies do it better anyway ;] So I got out similar colors from my stash and created a look. I feel lame for not posting since Monday, but as I said in my last post, work is kinda killing me here. It's my day off though, so after I post this I'm going to go back to sleep, SLEEP IN, and then watch movies all day :) I did this look a few days ago, and it's one of my favorites I've ever done, so I'm bummed the pictures didn't turn out a little bit better. What I used: Concrete Minerals primer Pixie Epoxy Frostbite, by High Voltage (inner lid) Land Serene, by Hi Fi (outer lid) Sun N Clouds, by Stardust (crease) Mornings of Gold, by Hi Fi (highlight) Collection 2000 Glam Crystals liner in Pow! 10 Jemma Kidd liner in Style Icon (waterline) Barry M metallic liquid liner in gold (below waterline) Maybelline Falsies mascara, then L'Oreal Extra Collagen mascara e.l.f. all over color stick in Pink Lemonade (blush) Boots no 17 lip glaze in Remember Me (thanks Lillian!) Today since I was already using 2 Sleek products, I just decided to use a lot of nice products I have from the UK thanks to Rachel and Lillian :) What I used: Concrete Minerals primer Sleek Circus palette (matte pink and lavender shades, white to highlight) Sleek Kajal liner in Odyssey Max Factor 2000 Calorie mascara Rimmel liner in black The lavender did not want to show up in the pictures, my whole lid looks pink when really it has a lot of lavender. This reminds me of the MAC Azalea Blossom blush. I have a question for you guys, would you like or dislike a post of lots of non makeup related personal stuff? I would show you pictures of my 10,000 pets, songs I've been listening to lately, stuff like that. Tell me yay or nay in the comments! Who cares about all my college acceptance letters! Since I can't afford to go to a university anyway >:[ Getting my makeup from the amazing Rachel was the best thing to come home from vacation to! Here's some things I had my family win for me at King's Island amusement park, heehee. THAT'S A FREAKING LICKYLICKY! It's Lickitung's evolved stage. Lickitung is my favorite Pokemon :D On to the magical mystical box of foreign makeup *_* We did a swap, and I don't know what I was expecting but certainly not THIS MUCH awesome stuff! I was seriously jumping around and yelling because I was so excited. Oh makeup, what you do to me... The Sleek Sunset Palette! Some really cute Beauty UK palettes! Barry M metallic liners, COLLECTION 2000 GLAM CRYSTAL LINERS (OMG DID I EVER WANT THESE SO BADLY), Sleek Kajal liner (in purple!), Max Factor 2000 Calorie mascara (a discontinued in the US fave of mine), and some Me Me Me lip & cheek tint (it has a nail polish style applicator!) She sampled a ton of her Barry M pigments for me, as well as a few from other companies too :) Wasn't that so sweet? She also got me two full size Barry M pigments, a blue and a bronze, my favorite summer color combo. This seriously was the best thing EVER... I just came down with a cold so I'm not really wanting to do any looks right now, but if there is anything you'd like to see swatched, please feel free to let me know! This whole swapping experience pleased me so fabulously that I'm really eager to do it again. If anyone from the UK wants to do a swap that we'd send sometime in the next couple months, lemme know, cus I'd love it! :D We can set a price limit, and if there's any brands or specific products you're looking for I'd be more than happy to scout them out for you.
