MAIL HAUL!

I got 4 packages in the mail today! From Avon/mark Aromaleigh High Voltage Cosmetics and Cherry Culture! These pictures are pretty lame colorwise, everything looks a lot brighter irl. The L.A. Colors due, though, actually looks like that, definitely NOT like the picture on the Cherry Culture site *sigh* Hmm... nope. I also wanted to show you my nails, using Wet N Wild's "Rain Check" which I got for 99 cents :) I used a coat of CG's Matte Magic on top. It's grey, it's blue! I love it! PS, I know the yellow is dirty! It's not my carpet, but the towel I keep under my makeup area to try and stop ruining the carpet ;] I was going to take pictures of my whole Hello Kitty collection and post it, but I decided I'm going to do a Hello Kitty of the Day instead! I don't think showcasing some of my weirder things individually will make me look like any less of a loony, but it'll be more fun! Here are some knee socks my friend Emily just picked me up. I can't wait for warmer weather so I can wear them with a cute little skirt! I hope everyone's week is going well.

Happy 101 Tag

I got the Happy 101 tag from Lisa Kate, who I totally adore :3 It's 10 things that make me happy, and I have to tag 10 blogs! Or however many I FEEL LIKE, what are you gonna do about it? Okay okay... I did 11, I'm not a huge rebel. 1. SPRAY BUTTER. Not your grandma's dumb spreadable butter. 2. THE X-FILES. I'm on season 7, devastated at the thought of my life once I'm done with the series and the latest movie... I dream about Mulder and Scully at least twice a week. Sadly, that's not a joke. The picture below is the X-Files poster I got for Christmas! 3. MOVIES. Not your typical lame girly movies... those are for chumps. Horror movies are my favorite, ones that push you to the limits and make you scream. But I also love disturbing movies, classic comedies, and Fred & Ginger movies. I am as into movies as I am into makeup... that should tell you something. Last night, I watched The Midnight Meat Train :D 4. SNEAKERS. I have probably around 12 pairs of bright ass sneakers, and maybe 10 pairs of flats. I'm going to show you guys a picture of my shoe collection sometime. These are the ones I got for Christmas. 5. SAM. 6. HELLO KITTY. I know a lot of people probably hate Hello Kitty. I would say she hates you too, but her heart is made of pure good and she could never hate anyone. 7. LADY GAGA. LOVE LOVE LOVE 8. CUTE ANIMAL PICTURES! I have the Cute Overload page a day 2010 calender :D 9. When Blogger doesn't keep changing the font I'm using, dammit! 10. I grabbed all my eye colors I believe may be repackaged, and put them in one of my Hello Kitty lunchboxes (the other is full with Hello Kitty makeup!). It was 40ish colors, so around 1/3 of all the colors I have. Damnit you repackagers! Stop wasting my money with your crock of shit. Here is my EOTD. I am sooo not in the mood for bright colors today, so I did kind of a brown and dark purple thing. WHYYYY DID YOU TAKE MY MAX FACTOR AWAY FROM MEEEE base: Urban Decay Primer Potion, with Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy on top e.l.f. lip gloss in New York City Today I ordered from Sobe Botanicals, Evil Shades, Beautiful Girl Minerals, and mark by Avon. So that's 8 orders I've placed in the last week... uh oh! I'm really itching to place another Fyrinnae order, and get some NYX stuff, since I remarkably don't own any. We'll see if I give in to temptation. >_>

Silver EOTD

Hi everyone, my hand healed enough that I can type today! I still have blisters and burn marks over my wrists and arms though... gross! I guess I just live life on the edge, working a dangerous job like mine. Arby's is crazy, man. You drop one piece of popcorn chicken into the fryer and BAM there goes the oil splashing and you lose your left hand usage for the night. This Thanksgiving I am grateful for my boyfriend, Sam, my friends, my family, my pets (a dog, cat, 2 degus, 2 chinchillas), Lady Gaga, Hello Kitty, and MAKEUP! I hope everyone is having a great Thanksgiving. I decided to do a silver EOTD on Tuesday using some of my new Meow Cosmetics samples. I was left feeling semi-disappointed, like I was when I swatched them. The color 'Broken Mirror' didn't stay on well, and I had to reapply it during the day. What I used: Sabertooth, by Meow (inner lid) Broken Mirror, by Meow (center of lid) Nile, by Meow (outer lid) Train to Nowhere, by The She Space (under eyes) Max Factor 2000 Calorie Extreme Mascara I've seen the pictures of the Holiday collections on the Meow website, and there are a lot of colors that look beautiful. But I don't think I'm going to order again, especially right now. I'm trying to only spend $20 ordering makeup until Christmas, because I have to get presents for everyone. I love the holidays. :)
