My Urban Decay collection, part 2

I have 3 loose shadows I got for $5 each from Haute Look. They have been on the UD & Sephora websites lately for $5, although I don't think there's a lot of choices left. I have one pressed shadow, Graffiti, that I bought from Lillian's blog sale a few months ago. From left to right are Shattered, Baked, Shag, Graffiti, and Acid Rain. I think I got Acid Rain from Haute Look, but it may have been from Beauty Ticket. Annoying packaging. I think this primer/waterproofer duo has been d/c'd, but just the lash primer is still available on the website. It works terrifically. I got this marshmallow flavored & scented body powder from Lillian as well. It's too bad it's $26 at full price, because it's the perfect marshmallow scent I'd been hunting down, and I still haven't found anything as good. And its yummy ;) I know what you're thinking- where's the UDPP? Well, I used to have a tube, but I used it up. And since I found a great alternative, I thought I'd post it here. A tin of Concrete Minerals Electric Eye Primer is $9. The color of it is the same as original UDPP, and the texture is buttery soft. I've done the whole "one eye UDPP, one eye CMEEP", and they both looked exactly the same at the end of the day (sorry no pictures, I tested it when I worked all night!). So if you don't want to shell out the cash for a new tube of UDPP, this (in my opinion, and with my experiences) is basically the same in terms of quality. What are your favorites from Urban Decay? Also, don't forget to vote in the polls on the side of the page!

  1. I have the primer waterproof duo and for some reason it gets clumpy on me. Do you ever have that problem?

  2. I might try the Concrete minerals primer next. I know UD are bringing out the squeezy tube, but still.

Oh, and I voted for Killer Cosmetics! Never heard of them before but they look gorgeous! Going to get their blogger kit.

  3. Nice collection!

My favorite things from UD are the 24/7 liners and my Skull Shadow Box.

I do use the Primer Potion, and I want to compare it to Concrete's.

    Thanks!

  4. Very nice indeed! I absolutely have to get "baked" cos everyone seems to be using it at the min and it looks fantastic.

I've stopped using primer potion and moved onto Too Faced Shadow Insurance but I reckon I'll definitely have to try Concrete Minerals Electric Eye Primer! I mean it's such a great price and the container is brill :)

  5. I love what little UD I have, you got quite a haul at good prices.

I also voted for Killer Cosmetics. I like seeing reviews on companies that I haven't already heard of.

  6. I wish UD sold their shit in Australia, because I would probably buy something from them every single week :D

I love UDPP so much and will probably have to go back to it in Summer due to the humidity and my ability to be a sweaty man at all times, but I fucking looooove the CM one right now <3

  9. I liked the lash primer in that primer duo! I think it was called lingerie and galoshes or something?! Good to know about the Concrete Minerals primer, too!

  10. Ugh the loose shadows are so pretty <3 UDPP used to be my HG primer, but I love the CM one now. It's way more accessible :)

I also love the Get Baked palette, so freakin pretty.

  11. @Phyrra: I read somewhere you should let the primer dry before applying the mascara... that's what I always did, and I didn't have problems with it.

@Everyone: Killer Cosmetics will be my next review :) Also, the CM primer is great! I highly recommend it over paying $30 for the squeeze tube.

@BeautyJudy: Yep, lingerie and galoshes :) It took me SOOO long to understand those names... I was like "What do undies have to do with boots?"
