March/April movies

As April has just ended, I thought I'd do another post sharing with you the best movies I've seen in the last couple months. Let me know your opinions of any of these that you've seen! I really need to statisfy my movie-discussing urges.

  1. HOLY CRAP I LOVE YOU, you may be the only other person I've ever met who's seen Suburban Mayhem <3 I try to explain to everybody that Mia Wasikowska/Alice was in that movie and nobody cares haha.

  2. Haven't seen any of these. Have to check them out!:) Lately I was very shocked by Desert Flower movie. And I watched 5 seasons of Bones in one month only! OMG, Bones is MEGA cool! :) I wish they had 10 seasons! lol

  3. Ok, you NEED to explain to me how Hot Tub Time Machine is on this list. The title makes me cringe!

  4. Before Sunrise is amazing! Though I honestly think I preferred Before Sunset, the sequel. Such a great love story.

The Machinist is one of my favorite movies (but anything with Christian Bale ranks high for me, he's my favorite :D). It was so difficult not to cringe when he was shirtless...*cringes just thinking about it* I'm usually pretty good at guessing endings but this one took me a while to figure out.

Also, hello! Just became a follower. :)

  5. @SilhouetteScreams: I loved it :D Everyone was so despicable.

@HeavenNRJ: What's Desert Flower about? I have a friend who is obsessed with Bones.

@Jade Carver: I have no idea... :P I hate comedy movies, and even though this one had a lot of dumb sex jokes and whatnot, there were lots of parts that really made me laugh. Plus it had Clark Duke and Crispin Glover and that guy from The Office and I like them all a lot.

@Lemon Bunny: Hi, thanks for following, I'm glad you commented :D I didn't like Before Sunset as much, but I did like the ending because I interpreted it as them staying together, which made me really happy. The Machinist is now for sure my most favorite move-he looked so gross though! It made me think of videos of people who have been in concentration camps, because he just looked like a living skeleton. I totally had no idea about the ending, I loved how mysterious everything was.

  6. I loved Alice! If you liked it, I would also recommend The Lost Room and Tin Man.

  7. @kathyeffingjacobs: I have heard of Tin Man, but not The Lost Room. They both sound good, I added them to my Netflix queue.

  8. Desert Flower is "Based on the world best-selling book by Waris Dirie, this movie is the autobiography of a Somalian nomad circumcised at 5, sold in marriage at 13, who became an international supermodel and is now at the age of 38, the UN spokeswoman against circumcision." IMO, the movie was just ok, but some moments were really mind-blowing and heart-touching. They made me think of some really ugly things happening in the world. Btw, I loved the music at the beginning of the movie A LOT, and Liya Kebede was gorgeous!

So, have you seen Bones?:) Can't believe I found out about it just a month ago. I'm preparing myself for House M.D. Everyone is speaking about it, but I didn't care until today. And I am in a desperate "need" of finding some MEGA cool series to replace Bones&LOST! lol Could it be House M.D.? :)
