Another EOTD with Archetype

What I used: UDPP Pixie Epoxy Spring Lunacy (inner lid) Pixie Poop (outer lid) Sly (crease) Soap Bubble (highlight) Veil of Shadows (under waterline) Weeping Willow (inner v) Rimmel eyeliner in Very Violet Rimmel Sexy Curves mascara Mark After Glo blush Revlon PhotoReady translucent finishing powder NYX lipstick in Georgia (clear gloss on top) As you can see, my left eye looks like there's a weird little chunk missing... I can get my right eye perfect, but I can't get my left eye right. I'm right handed. Any suggestions?

  1. Hmmm.. I don't have any other suggestion that checking and re-checking it from the mirror. I have the same problem, but the other way. The makeup in my right eye is usually more symmetrical than in right eye. And I'm right handed. It's just practice, I think.

You always look so cute and pretty! I want to scoop you up and tuck you in my pocket ^^

  2. I cant provide any help on getting both eyes even, I'm notoriously bad at it :P but duuuude, I'm getting to tempted to order from Archetype, even though I still dont trust them!

  3. Very pretty. I have a problem like you, i can do my left eyes shadows fine, but mascara and liner also go so much worse than on my right eye. Pixie poop is a great name for a shadow, but i still won't buy from archetype :P

  4. Oooh so pretty! Sparkly!

If you don't check my blog for comment reply, I shall say it here- YOU SHOULD WEAR RED LIPS. You'd look so hot :)

  5. My eyes never look the same, haha. It's just that..when I'm doing my right eye I have it at a certain angle, so of course when I move over to the left it's all funky because i'm coming at it from the other side..hah.

The lid color is nice. :)

  6. Mine never turn out evenly...no matter how hard I try. But it's just normal. One thing that works easier for me is applying each colour on both eyes rather than doing one eye completely, then doing the other. I have no idea how some ladies do that. Seems so much harder.

But the colours are gorgeous! I have all those too. I ordered over 100 samples last summer...So I have most. I just placed a tiny order with Archetype on Saturday. I got a shipment confirmation email this morning. So weird. Glad she got her crap together. We'll see how long it lasts though.

  7. @Pixie: thanks! Their shadows are almost all super glittery, pixie epoxy is a must.

@Saila: aww thanks heehee :) Yeah, I guess I just need to make more effort on keeping them even.

@SilhouetteScreams: If you're tempted, I'd say do it now before it all goes to shit again. But since you are international, that would make me really nervous. :/ If you'd like, I could order them for you and ship them over, and you could send me the money on paypal. :)

@Lillian: I know I shouldn't, and I should support better, more responsible business owners, but I just HAD to see what all the hype was about. They're really not anything amazing, I think we just want what we can't have. I'm doing a review when I get back home.

@RaeRae: Thanks sweetie but HELL NO lol I can't do red lips! I don't think my skin tone and hair are right for it... maybe I've just never found the right red?

    @Julissa: It's so frustrating T_T

@Blix: oh whatever missy, you have like the most perfect makeup I've ever seen! I'm always so impressed. That's how I apply as well, if I did one eye then the other it would be sooo uneven... yeah, I'm glad too, but wondering as well when it will stop...

  8. Apparently everyone has their 'perfect red'... I'm not an expert, but I think you could definitely pull off something brick-red, or orangey-red... Or coral red. Yes, yes. Coral red.

  9. Wow this is so pretty and sparkly! I'm the same I find it so hard to get the left eye right, but the right eye is really easy! I'm right handed too :)

  10. @RaeRae: I just don't know >_< haha I really am loving the coral trend though, I think coral red would probably be my best bet.

@Jeri: Thanks! Today it was the opposite, I couldn't get my right eye to look good at all, only the left.
