Drugstore Favorites, part 2: bright eyeliner

For my next "I'm on a low buy so I need to rediscover great products I already have" post, I thought I'd focus on bright liners! I need to take a picture of my eyeliner collection someday, it is ridiculous. If I had to guess at how many I own, I'd say around 35. So, here are my favorite ones, available at Walgreens / CVS / WalMart, etc. First, we have the relatively new Covergirl Liquiline Blast eyeliners. Therese go for about $8 or $9. I have the shades Blue Bloom and Green Glow. The staying power is good on the lids, not so great for waterline. The Milani Infinite liquid liners go for about $6, and come in lots of cool colors. I have Infinite, the cobalt blue, and Endless, a purple. Anyone who has these can attest to the fact that the things DO NOT budge. I've slept in them, and they've stayed mostly intact. The last one's I'm going to show you today are part of the shimmer strips collection by Physician's Formula. They are cream liners, and I bought the set for green eyes. I think these are around $10-11, but I got mine when they were 40% off at CVS :) The neat thing about these is that you can stack them together.I love the black, it's very opaque and has little sparklies in it too. Do you have any of these liners? Which drugstore liners are your favorites? WHICH STAY ON THE WATERLINE? I can never find ones that will stay well on my waterline, or even show up very well.

  1. Oh, thanks for posting about the CG liners. I have been wanting some of those for a while now. Honestly, I love drugstore cosmetics. I guess because they are inexpensive I feel like I can buy a lot of it. lol I realy like and want all of these that you posted about. I really like that green from the Physicians Formula.

    I read a trick about the elf studio cream liners and it works. Take a regular eyeliner pencil and dip the the point into the elf cream liner and line waterline. It worked really well for me and lasted all day.

  3. I don't have any of these, but the Milani ones look incredible! I need to find some cheap liquid liners so I can practice my nonexistent technique. I'll look into those!

    I think my fave cheap eyeliner is actually another one by Milani, Liquif'eye. Really intense metallic look and they do not budge once you have them on.

    No waterline suggestions, unfortunately ... Urban Decay 24/7 works the best for me, but, of course, you're not gonna find that one in a drugstore!

  5. I have those pencils in Blue Boom, Silver Spark and Green Glow. Definitely love them :) I have the blue milani liner and it's really pretty. I LOVE the physicians formula gel liners, but I wish they either sold a set with ONLY the black shades, or sold the black separately. I ended up hating the brown shade and while the blue is ok, I prefer black.

  6. I have the Liquiline Blast liners, and I love them. I've been thinking about getting some of the Milani liners, but wasn't sure how they'd work - thanks for posting your thoughts! I'll have to try them for sure.

  7. I went crazy awhile ago and got the Milani ones, (black-blue-purple-brown/gold-green) and I think they're really really great. The blue one reminds me of UD's Radium liquid liner. I do find them a little bit hard to apply, but the results are very worth it! The gold and the green don't look so hot on me, though. But that's my skintone's fault :P

  12. Holy crap I want all of those, that Milani blue is INTENSE!!
    I still can't find one that'll stay all day on the waterline. All throughout highschool I would just use my black Bonne Bell liner.
    I also have a stupid-big stash of liners. Before I wore eyeshadow I wore coloured eyeliners instead and it just kinda grows a bit ever year lol

  13. I've been shopping around for a good drug store liner that stays on the waterline. The best one I've found so far is Prestige's Total Intensity liner. I have it in Bold Brown and it is awesome! But I do want to pick up the Physician's Formula set one of these days!

  14. My favorite drugstore liner which stays in the water line for the most part is Milani's Liquif Eye Metallic eyeliner in Black. It rocks and rolls.

  15. @Darling Girl: Thanks for the tip! I'm planning on getting some of the cream liners from elf with my next order =)

    @Steph: They're great!

    @princessfats: I love Milani, and I actually haven't tried those out yet... I need to! I don't know why I always skip them. Urban Decay has a set of 9 mini eye pencils at Ulta for only $40, when I go to Texas next month I'm hopefully going to be able to get that.

    @Kira: They come in sets of different colors, too :)

    @Phyrra: I love using the black for that really thick, winged look. So easy to control, I even like the brush they came with.

    @kathyeffingjacobs: They aren't the easiest to apply, but the color payoff is amazing.

    @MissTat: I've seen the green, I think it is a really weird shade for a liner!

  16. @Robyn: I need to start making a list of UK stuff I want T_T Tooo much goodness y'all got over there, and away my money flies.

    @Blushingloves: thank you :)

    @VampiressDoll: thanks!

    @Y: I am dreading the day when I am too perpetually broke to buy new makeup...

    @KittenMittens: Bonne Belle makes products because little lippies? I did not know that. I like using colorful eyeliner when I'm too lazy to do an actual eye look.

    @The Peach: I JUST the other day found a grocery store in town that carries Prestige, so I will have to check that out when I'm off my low-buy!

    @Makeup Zombie: Ooh, second recommendation for the Liquif Eye, I definitely need to try it >:)

  17. I haven't tried any for the waterline but Barry M liquid liners don't budge all day and they come off very easily with make up remover.

  18. NEED ALL OF THESE OMG <3 they don't sell any of these here, but hopefully the CG ones will make their way eventually :(

  19. Waugh the cg liners look awesome!! I recently bought a silver milani liquifeye pencil and it's really nice :) I have the one in gold already but I made the mistake of not capping it so it dried out significantly and is now very difficult to use.. -__-' I have those phys. formula liners, they are pretty damn good! Much better than the coastal scents ones I got awhile back. I have been using them on my waterline even though putting cream e/l on your waterline can get a lil sketchy sometimes.. I could actually skip the sparklies in the black one, but otherwise it has the best formula out of the three for me. I keep being tempted by the blue milani liquid liner though.. x.X
